Our list sat for a couple months, but on Wednesday night we got to cross off "Elves at Christmastime." Yeah, that's right. Last May we decided that we wanted to go to an unnamed place to see if we could find... um.... short people.
There is a rumor in Salt Lake County about this. Do you follow? So anyways, we decided it would be a great Christmas activity, to be as politically incorrect as possible. Well, we definitely found weird, little houses, but alas, no Santa Helpers. Better luck next year. But seriously, some of these houses look like they came out of children's story books.
Here is Brent by some old castle where princess used to be kept. He looks gangster cuz his hat was reflecting the flash so he had to turn it around.
I am just freaked out because of all the no tresspassing signs we passed.
After this, we went to see the lights at temple square. It was soooo cold and Brent hadn't prepared well so I made him try on some warm things from my closet. Yeah, he fit! He's skinny skinny.
Good thing Brent doesn't read my blog cuz I'm going to tell you a secret. I got him to keep on that hot pink jacket. Look for it in the following photos:

Tell me about the little houses - I remember doing that in high school - what is the real story?
Brent looks good in hot pink - I like how it is peaking out from his jacket.
Sure looks cold - you should come visit AZ
Ha! I recongize that jacket! I think I have the same one with Exodus on it! We must shop at the same place. If your really want to have some luck finding some REAL elves check out this site.....http://www.gardnervillage.com/events.php lol. I want to go do it with the boys.
We used to call that place
Hobbit-ville and I made the exact same face as you as this "good little girl" passed all those signs that would definitely result in some sort of written violation should we get caught.
You and your boy are so cute!!
ha ha ha. hot pink. he needed it though, it hasn't even been close to freezing lately. glad you explored hobbitville. i'm way too scared to go in. i don't want to get in trouble or have little men throwing rocks at me or something.
