A Hot Chile Christmas Season

What? Jen is posting? Where have you been, you say? Answer: I have no idea where these last 3 weeks have gone. All I can say is time flies when you're having fun. And then you forget to post on your blog.

So, to catch you up on a few highlights: I planned a "Christmas date-double date" with Laura, and it was a blast! We made sugar cookies, ate a yummy dinner with cute Christmas dishes, played pingpong (the Francisco/Laura team kicked the Jen/Victor team's butt), watched Elf in Spanish, had banana splits, and looked at our beautiful Christmas lights in the yard. Yeah, it was way fun.

We like to be cheesy. Whaaaaaaaat.

Next, yesterday was my mom's birthday!!! Cher and I were excited to finally give her the memory book we have been working on for a couple months. We had lots of her friends and family members email us their favorite memories of my mom. Our goal was to make it to 50 (since she turned the big five-oh) and we did it! It was so fun for me to read the memories and see what a wonderful person my mom is, and how much she is loved. I love my mom! Ever since I was born I have had the habit of following her around everywhere. I always want to be near her. That is why I am in Chile, my friends.

Since Cher wasn't here, I took some pictures for her while my mom unwrapped her present. My mom was fully aware she was being photographed, but I promise, she was excited for the book. For real.

Here is what the inside looks like. Good job Cher.
Finally, I have been having so much fun with Chicago. I never would have guessed I would love an animal so much. But I do. So does Laura. Here are a couple videos that make me laugh:
After Chicago's bath, she gets VERY hyper. So do Laura and I apparently. Sadly, we just caught the end of Chicago's rampage.

Chicago's own version of ice skating:
